The Challenge:
The original kitchen and living area were confined by a dated layout and heavy, dark finishes. With bulky structural elements, a fragmented flow, and a visually dense color palette of burgundy and dark granite, the space felt disconnected and uninspired. Our clients dreamed of a bright, open, and functional room that would serve as the central hub of their home, seamlessly blending modern luxury with timeless design.
Structural & Layout Redesign
The most significant changes began behind the scenes. To achieve the client's vision of an expansive, open-concept space, our team executed a complete structural overhaul. We removed unused bulkheads to raise the ceiling and create a unified atmosphere. Furthermore, we made the strategic decision to enclose two large windows to provide a more functional wall layout. These changes allowed us to fully optimize the space for the new kitchen design, creating a seamless flow and providing crucial wall space for cabinetry.
A Cohesive & Luxurious Result
With the new layout in place, we revitalized the space with high-end finishes, providing a crisp, clean canvas. We installed an elegant
wood-look tile
floor and luminous
white granite
countertops. The old cabinetry was replaced with beautiful custom-designed warm white cabinets, and a striking
navy blue island
was introduced to serve as the room's bold centerpiece. The final design is a masterpiece of integrated style, with rich
copper finishes
and new brick on the fireplace that was specially selected to match the kitchen's backsplash, ensuring a harmonious and unified visual flow.
